Effective Date: 5th March 2024. Last Published: 10th Sep 2026. Current date: 10th Sep 2026 • Silenus Ventures Pty Ltd (ACN: 676 724 584)
This Privacy Policy governs the collection, storage, handling, and disclosure of personal, technical, and sensitive information across all platforms, software, and decentralized protocols operated by Silenus Ventures Pty Ltd, including Respondable, Siebsab, Frankl, and MapleLeafAI.
1. Introduction & Regulatory Scope
Silenus Ventures Pty Ltd (ACN: 676 724 584) ("Silenus Ventures", "we", "our", or "us") is an Australian proprietary company registered in New South Wales. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of data privacy, client confidentiality, and informational self-determination.
This Privacy Policy details our practices in compliance with:
- The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the 13 Australian Privacy Principles (APPs);
- The statutory principles of the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW) (PPIP Act);
- The Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (NSW) (HRIP Act) where health or psychological instruments are accessed;
- The Part IIIC Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme under Commonwealth law; and
- Applicable platform partner policies, including the Google API Services User Data Policy.
2. Kinds of Information We Collect
We collect information strictly necessary to develop, execute, authenticate, and maintain our platforms. The categories of data collected depend on the specific Silenus service you interact with:
Identity & Contact Information
Name, email address, corporate entity name, and correspondence metadata supplied directly when contacting us or registering an account.
Cryptographic & Network Identifiers
Public blockchain wallet addresses (e.g. Arbitrum One, Ethereum), transaction hashes, IPFS content identifiers (CIDs), and public cryptographic signing keys.
Authenticated Creator Tokens
OAuth authorization tokens, user profile IDs, channel metadata, and permissions granted through third-party identity providers (e.g., Google OAuth).
Technical & Telemetry Data
Browser user-agent, operating system, localized session state, error logs, and anonymized performance metrics.
3. Platform-Specific Privacy Frameworks
Because Silenus Ventures engineers specialized cryptographic, AI, and distributed platforms, privacy controls are customized per product:
Facilitates tone-aware YouTube comment intelligence, community fan support subscriptions, and creator content distribution. User-granted permissions for YouTube channel administration and Google Drive indexing are handled strictly within secure session scopes and are never commercialized or shared.
A decentralized media streaming and discovery network operating on Arbitrum and IPFS. Video and audio media pinned to IPFS are distributed via public content-addressed hashes. On-chain protocol operations (e.g. channel creation, tipping, community gas fund contributions) are recorded immutably on the Arbitrum blockchain.
A decentralized cognitive and behavioral health platform hosting 20 validated psychometric instruments. Features zero-server scoring (all calculations execute deterministically in your browser) and client-side envelope encryption (AES-256-GCM / 2048-bit RSA-OAEP). Raw assessment responses are never held in plaintext by Silenus Ventures.
Delivers enterprise-grade secure data enclaves, permissioned RAG, and community archive preservation. Data ingested into enterprise enclaves is logically segregated, protected with zero cross-tenant contamination, and never used to train public foundation models without explicit agreement.
4. How We Use & Disclose Information
We collect and process personal and technical information strictly for reasonable, legitimate business purposes:
- To provide, operate, maintain, and upgrade our software platforms and protocols;
- To calculate and settle non-exclusive distribution royalties and revenue shares in accordance with agreements;
- To verify identity, validate transactions, and safeguard our services against malicious activity or unauthorized access;
- To fulfill statutory, taxation, corporate reporting, and legal compliance obligations under New South Wales and Australian law;
- To respond to direct queries, technical support tickets, and legal notices.
We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal information or contact details to third-party data brokers or marketing aggregators under any circumstances.
5. Decentralized Storage & Ledger Transparency
Certain Silenus Ventures platforms utilize public blockchain infrastructure (including the Arbitrum One Layer-2 network) and distributed peer-to-peer storage networks (including the InterPlanetary File System — IPFS).
Public Blockchain Notice:
Transactions submitted to a blockchain ledger are broadcast across decentralized validator nodes and are mathematically irreversible and permanent. Public wallet addresses, smart contract execution logs, and cryptographic hashes cannot be amended, redacted, or expunged by Silenus Ventures.
Users are cautioned never to publish unencrypted personal identifying information directly into transaction payload memos or unencrypted IPFS storage pins.
6. Google API User Data & Limited Use Disclosure
Respondable utilizes Google API Services (specifically Google Drive for content indexing and YouTube Data API for video backup, channel management, and comment interactions).
Silenus Ventures strictly complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:
- Purpose Specification: Information obtained via Google APIs is used solely to provide and improve user-facing features within Respondable (drafting tone-aware responses, indexing creator content, and backing up creator archives).
- No Data Transfers for Advertising: We never transfer, disclose, or sell Google user data to third-party advertising networks, data brokers, or information resellers.
- No Human Inspection: Silenus personnel do not read or inspect user Google data unless you have given express written consent for a specific technical support issue, or where required by law.
- No Unauthorized AI Model Training: Google user data accessed via Respondable is never used to train generalized or third-party artificial intelligence models.
7. Health & Cognitive Screening Records (NSW HRIP Act)
The Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (NSW) (HRIP Act) governs the collection and handling of health information in New South Wales. In connection with the Frankl platform:
Zero-Server Scoring Architecture: Frankl assessments (such as AQ-10, AD8, Digit Span, Trail Making, PHQ-9, and GAD-7) perform all psychological evaluation and psychometric computations locally inside your web browser. Plaintext responses to psychological queries are never sent to Silenus servers.
Client-Side Envelope Encryption: Data archives saved to your personal data wallet are encrypted using AES-256-GCM and wrapped in 2048-bit RSA-OAEP keys generated on your device. Only the private key holder has the technical capability to decrypt and view historical assessment records.
Not Clinical Diagnosis: Frankl screening tools are educational and research instruments. They do not constitute formal medical or psychiatric diagnostic consultations.
8. Data Security & Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB)
We implement comprehensive physical, organizational, and technological safeguards to protect personal information against loss, unauthorized access, misuse, modification, or disclosure.
Under Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), Silenus Ventures maintains an active Notifiable Data Breaches response plan. In the event of an eligible data breach involving personal information likely to result in serious harm, we will expeditiously notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), alongside the NSW Privacy Commissioner where appropriate.
9. Cross-Border Data Disclosures
Silenus Ventures utilizes enterprise cloud infrastructure (including Google Cloud Platform and Firebase) with primary points of presence in Australia (Sydney region) and secondary infrastructure in the United States and global edge CDN nodes. By utilizing our services, you acknowledge that technical telemetry and encrypted assets may be transmitted through secure global networks compliant with APP 8.
10. Your Rights: Access, Correction & Deletion
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you possess specific legal rights concerning your personal information:
- Access: You may request access to any personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: You may request correction of inaccurate, out-of-date, or incomplete records.
- Account Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated centralized records.
*(Note: Immutable blockchain transactions and decentralized IPFS hashes pinned by independent network peers cannot be modified or erased due to underlying cryptographic protocol constraints).*
